Promoting Peace
and Global Stability
since 1949

The Atlantic Council of the United Kingdom (ACUK) is an independent, non-governmental educational charity, whose purpose is to promote the values of peace and international order, as set out in the North Atlantic Treaty of 1949.

Programmes & Activities

For over 75 years, the Atlantic Council of the United Kingdom has advanced education and discussion in international affairs, defence, and diplomacy. Through expert-led visits, academic seminars, and member-driven research, we provide students, professionals, and future leaders with direct access to policy institutions, informed debate, and practical insight into global security and international cooperation.

Our programmes support both students and young professionals seeking deeper understanding of foreign policy, peace-building, and international order.
